A week in photos, April 2021

Plenty of sunflowers growing!
Abundant Italian basil! We expect to include this in veggie boxes this weekend.
Orion walking through the tomatoes. We’ve been so busy harvesting heavy, abundant spring crops like cucumbers and squash. In the meantime – the tomatoes have become a prolific jungle! They have given so generously this season. We have six harvests left to enjoy their delicious fruits.
Cardinal eggs in the tomatoes – this happens every year! They are always born and fly the coop just in time for us to tear out the plants at the end of the season.
More springtime birds. Sleeping Carolina wrens born in a bag of minerals sitting on a ledge in the barn. They pick the worst spots to make nests, consistently, every year! Our mailbox, tractor exhaust pipes, etc.
