The final week of the harvest season are here.
This Friday, we will harvest the last of the vegetables and bring them to St. Pete for our last farmers market of the season!
We would LOVE to see you at the farmers market this Saturday. We want to get the last fresh harvest into your hands. And we’d love to wish you all well as we head into summer!
Then, we will return to the farmers market in October.
Here’s what we’ll have in abundance this week:
Lettuce, green beans, kale, malabar spinach, bok choi, baby greens, dandelion greens, celery, scallions, carrots, eggplant, butternut squash, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, basil, cilantro, hardy culinary herbs, sweet peppers, hot peppers, and cut flowers of all types (and more). The offering is STILL abundant!
If you’re looking for ways to stock up and save food for the summertime off-season, now is a great time to revisit our blog post: Make the harvest last through the off-season. Also, it would be a great time to print out the Veggie Storage Guide (which is a chart guide to how to store veggies at home for longest shelf-life).
See you this weekend,
Ellen and Cole
P.S. Here is a reminder about Farm Membership enrollment: Early-enrollment runs for exactly one more week, through June 1st.
Early-enrollment is your chance to get the best deal on Membership for the coming season.
If you’d like to learn more about Farm Membership, you can read about it here.
We are so grateful for all of the returning members and first-time members that have signed up for Farm Membership already for the coming year! We’re excited to grow veggies for all of you next season!
