A week in photos, March 2021

Here are a few moments from this week on the farm. Hopefully, this brightens up your inbox this morning.

First garlic harvest of spring. We call this “green garlic” when we harvest the plants before it is fully mature. This way we can enjoy eating fresh garlic without waiting for the crop to cure. All parts of the plant are edible, tops and all, with a strong delicious garlic flavor. Looks like a great garlic crop this year!
First zucchini of springtime.
Sunrise over the fields.
Beans growing on the vine in a greenhouse!
Bean harvest. We have both green and purple coming in right now.
Delphiniums beginning to bloom.
Sunflowers blooming. Springtime is here!
