Gratitude at the end of the season

Howdy friends,

We’re still catching our breath after our final market of the season – and if you were there, thank you for helping send us into summer with full hearts. Thanks for showing up this season – it means the world to us.

Right now, there might still be veggies in your fridge. Maybe some of our zinnias or marigolds are sitting in a jar by the kitchen sink.

The season isn’t quite gone yet – still fresh enough to reflect on what it meant.

Here on the farm, this is when the planning phase begins. The fields are barely cleared yet, and we’re already thinking: what went right? What do we want more of? What lessons did we learn in the thick of it?

There’s a piece of farmer wisdom we live by: “Buy your bulbs while the flowers are blooming.”

When ranunculus or dahlias are at their peak, it’s the best moment to take stock – to notice what’s beautiful, what’s thriving, and what’s bringing joy. That’s when you place your order for next season’s bulbs – while the beauty is still right in front of you.

So, while the season isn’t far behind us – what felt good in your home and life this season? What would you like more of next? If eating well is among those things, take a moment to consider belonging to something a little slower and a little deeper in the season to come.

Our newly redesigned membership is a really accessible way to grow deeper roots in good health, seasonal abundance, and local color.

Enjoy what’s left of the harvest while its still here – don’t let this moment pass you by.

We’ll be setting into motion the season we hope to share with you next.

With all our love and gratitude,

Ellen & Cole
