We’re thinking of all our friends in St. Pete and Tampa after Hurricane Milton.
We made it through the storm on the farm. Our harvest will be reduced for some time, but thankfully we do still have many delicious crops to harvest. We are cleaning up the fields and replanting crops now.
The farmers market is back this weekend! We will be there. Each farmer at the market has surely faced varying degrees of crop damage from the hurricane. Many other businesses likely have experienced losses. One way to support the market community is to spread the word about market reopening.
We’re asking you to visit the market if you can, load up on veggies, cook them, enjoy them, share some with a friend, visit and shop with all the vendors you’re able to.
Remember that flowers and eating well and being in community make us all feel better.
As we all pick up the pieces after back-to-back hurricanes, we will continue to bring our best!
