For several years now Little Pond has been our nearly sole-source of veggies during the Florida growing season. I often freeze extra in the spring, making them a near year-round food supplier for us. I appreciate that they’ve found the comfort to shift to a pay-as-you go model, and I hope it expands their customer base. Love their work!

Last spring when I joined we were told there would be member only specials when there were abundant harvests. Well the abundant harvests typically are from November through March, this year has been a very good growing year as far as weather, and there haven’t been any member specials. I probably would have joined last spring without that promise but the fact that it was promised and then the promise was not delivered feels out of integrity to me. As a result, I do not see myself becoming a member next year.

Little Pond has the freshest vegetables! Their lettuce stays fresh so much longer than lettuce we have to purchase in the store when Market is not open. Their sweet potatoes are the sweetest we have ever had! We also love their flowers to brighten our home!

I have been shopping at Little Pond since, well, they were little! Wonderful variety of veggies and herbs and the flowers are fantastic! This year, they really stepped up and crushed it in Worden’s absence – well done y’all!! I am happy to be a member and have been for years. I do have to admit that I miss the prepaid farm card membership. I used to feel like a kid in a candy shop and enjoyed just picking up whatever struck my fancy, without worrying about how much I spent. Also, having an investment encouraged me to show up every week and bring home the freshness. I am quite sure that I went to the market much less often and certainly spent far less than I have in past seasons. Regardless, I am a huge fan and will always come to Little Pond for my veggies!
